Heather

45" x 80" - Collage comprised of 300 uncut photostrips. A literal homage to Chuck Close - literal, in that each frame is a photograph of a square from one of Chuck Close's paintings. The borrowed squares were rotated and rearranged to approximate a portrait of my wife, Heather, then photographed one by one in a vintage photobooth.

The pose and attire of my subject was meant to reflect the same of Close's wife, Leslie, in this series of portraits.
